F. Too cold. Like Edmonton but even worse, if you can imagine.

B

Loses points for being too dry. Winter snowfall is okay, but only marginally better than where I live. Could do much better than that. Other than that, not bad at all.

D-. Too cold with too little sun. 5 months with average highs below freezing and no months with highs above 70F is terrible.

I would give it an A-, needs more snow, otherwise a great climate.

C+. Slightly warmer summers (especially the lows), as well as slightly drier summers, would bump the grade up a bit.

Had a few friends in town from Whitehorse this weekend, so I was going to make a thread for it. What do you know, it's already been done.

I think I'd give it a B-. A little dry in the summer, a little cold in the winter. Nice snowfall total. Odd number of precipitation days considering the low precipitation totals. Wouldn't expect such frequent drizzle so far from the coast.

B-, winter is too dry and hence not as snowy as I'd like and goes on for a little too long, but a magical part of the world to visit. Summers are acceptable for the latitude.

Somewhere around D-/F+ for me. The three summer months aren't awful; everything else is.

If your colon is getting 1,855 hours of sunlight annually, it's time to see a doctor.
