I can't say I like this climate.

First of all, winters are too damn dry.

Second of all, its seasonality is very poor. I would expect much warmer summer highs with that kind of winter.

Third of all, average highs in winter are too warm.

I'll give it a D.

B. Could be warmer, especially the summer nights, but a very legit climate.

Not that bad for its location, neither too dry or too cold. I wonder why the Tibet is so 'mild'? It's in Asia, the biggest landmass, where in the east they use to have the coldest winters in the world per latitude, even in the coast. But if i compare Lhasa with Abra Pampa, a town in the north of my country in the Andean plateau, i find that both have the same mean temp, despite Abra Pampa being at 22º (vs Lhasa at 29º) and a bit lower (3400m vs 3600m). More surprisingly, it has far lower extremes. In fact it reaches Lhasa record value every winter.

C. Winter is a bit boring but I love the cool, dry and sunny weather. Summer is way too wet and not warm enough but at least it's comfortable and sunny. Pretty much a pleasant but somewhat boring climate.

D-. More sun in January than July is an epic fail. If the precip was more balanced it would be a C. Only thing that prevents an F is the temps are moderate in the winter. The line that "rain comes at night" is a false statement as we know from the sunshine totals and rainy days (20/30) that July/August is overcast and rainy.

July and August are not overcast, it is sunny year-round

Preference rating: 6.6/7.0 . Comfortable temperature year-round, although a bit dry in the winter.
Interest rating: 1.0/3.0 . Dry weather in the winter is very... dry.

Overall: 7.6/10.0 (76%, B)
