If I could skip one month in the year... here in Syracuse, it would be March.

March in Syracuse is almost NEVER warming up, it's the last month of an already long winter and in fact some of the worst cold snaps around here happen in March. I wish I could just be knocked out and sleep for the entire month.

I'd gladly skip September as it's a normally horribly dry, windy and sunny month and have never forgiven it for delaying our departure to the US 2 years ago - by way of that terrible dust-storm - by 4 hours

February. Very cold and pointless month. So pointless it has to be shortened.

It would either be April or November.

Awful months.

Definitely July, since it's the warmest month here.

December. Christmas has become so crassly commercial and politicaly combative that I wish it would just go away and we could have only a nice respectful church service praising the coming of the Lord.

You can avoid the commercialism. Just don't go shopping or watch television.

October through December are my favorite months. I love the cooler weather and holiday season.
