F, or E if reasonably sunny.

The average January low in Mohe, China is -33 F (-36 C). I can’t think of a location under 55 north latitude that has average lows quite that cold in winter. The very small amount of rainfall (near 0 inches) in the cold season (November through April) is indicative of the power of the winter monsoon in Asia. So this should be a very sunny climate in winter - a huge plus considering the cold. Lastly, with summer highs into to 70’s, Mohe seems to have a real summer considering the latitude.

Still, I would say there is only about 6 months (April through September) that I would really enjoy the outdoors in Mohe, China.

D+/C-
I'd give it an A+. The winters aren't much worse than those here in Minnesota, and the summers sound absolutely beautiful. I can take serious cold as long as it's sunny and clear at night. It's the cold, cloudy, windy, humid days that really get to me, along with hot summers.

I agree that the winter isn't much worse than in Minneosta, only 40-50 degrees colder (...cough.ahem...). -33 for low is a rare novelty in North America, very few places in Canada's northern territories and Alaska can get this cold. I give this climate a B for the hotter than ideal summers.

Once it gets below -20 F, you can't really tell the difference . . . it just feels frigid. I speak from experience.

Tempted to give a D for the ok summers but I don't know if I could handle something that cold unless I lived there.

D. I like cold weather, but some of those winter averages are far too cold for me, and yet summer still gets a little warmer than I'd prefer. Could be worse, though.

C-....I like cold, but that is crazy cold. Lows from October through May are too low. Highs from November through March are too low. If the winter highs were the lows and the highs were 20 F warmer than the lows, and the spring and fall were 20 F warmer, it would be an A.

Interesting, probably one of the southernmost climates in the world with average lows below -35C in wintertime. Only other one I can think of is Ulaangom. Makes Schefferville look mild.

A tremendous climate, A+. Wanted to bump this for the day.
