What do you think about the climate of this place, very cold for its latitude, at only 52 degrees. It might be the coldest city in China, as judged by the stats. The only town in Alaska that can get this cold is Chalkyitsik, but it's too far up the Arctic circle to be a good comparison. The city looks quite big with all those high-rise residential buildings. I wonder what the population is. You might need to zoom out to see the whole chart.

Nice summers, but winters that severe warrant an automatic F from me.

If it's cloudy, I'll give it a C. Too dry and winters colder than ideal.

You might be right.

The average January low in Mohe, China is -33 F (-36 C). I can’t think of a location under 55 north latitude that has average lows quite that cold in winter. The very small amount of rainfall (near 0 inches) in the cold season (November through April) is indicative of the power of the winter monsoon in Asia. So this should be a very sunny climate in winter - a huge plus considering the cold. Lastly, with summer highs into to 70’s, Mohe seems to have a real summer considering the latitude.

Still, I would say there is only about 6 months (April through September) that I would really enjoy the outdoors in Mohe, China.

Mohe China weather gets an F-.

I would not want to deal with a 7 month long winter from October to April that gets that severely cold for such a long period of time. Looks like Siberia Russia influences the weather of Northern China, and Mongolia quite a lot to become extremely cold in winter
.
However, most of China is definitely much warmer than this.

China is a country with a lot of weather climate diversity ranging from Very warm/hot climates to Very cold climates, and everything in between that such as very distinguished 4 season climates and also mild climates. China also has very wet and very dry climates and sunny to very cloudy climates as well as everything in between that as well.

After the USA, I think China is 2nd place in the world for having the most weather climate diversity for any country in the world.

Probably mostly clear skies in winter but with the low winter daylight hours at 53 N it wouldn't amount to much sun. And no amount of sunshine would really help at those temps.
