Very mild and wet Mediterranean climate, similar to San Francisco, however slightly warmer. Sunshine hours should be above 2400 as Eureka further north has 2400 hours of sunshine.
Overall, I give it a solid B, temperature, sunshine hours, and precipitation is more than acceptable. Although I would prefer less rain and somewhat warmer summers and slightly cooler winters. I really like how the dry season is noticeably shorter than what it is in the SF Bay Area or other parts of California.
Like Eureka, it looks better on paper than it does living in it. It rains a lot and rains hard in the winter. The dampness makes it feel colder than the temperature indicades.
I'm surprised at how warm the temperatures are here. Several hundred miles further south on the Bay Area coastline, places like Pacifica and Half Moon Bay are colder year 'round.
Winter temperatures in Santa Cruz and Monterey are the same or slightly cooler than Shelter Cove.
Does anyone know why Shelter Cove temperatures are warmer than other locations on the Pacific Coast?
Winters too warm, wet and cloudy, summers too dry and sunny. C-.
I thought you were giving F for all the climates that have dry summers
