In winter, I think London is better than Seattle because winters are drier and less extreme but summers are much better in the PNW than anywhere in England.
Also, as tom77falcons pointed out, the fact that we have a sunny semi-arid area 3 hour drive away is a big difference between here and much of England.
A lot of people here in Vancouver have summer cottages in the semi-arid BC interior and I imagine people in Seattle also probably have cottages in the sunny Washington/Oregon interior

Seattle is milder than London year round with sunnier, dryer summers, so it's better.

not true. The flight from Seattle to LA or Las Vegas is exactly 2.5 hours. And these cities are one of the sunniest and driest in the world

Even the people from Anchorage I met during my last vacations told me that they usually vacationed in Hawaii, it's right under Anchorage in the Pacific, a direct, short flight! I wonder if there are people from AK who are vacationing in the PNW, it seems to be be a very short flight from Anchorage (shorter yet from Juneau, 2 hours?)

That's the only one I know of in BC although the area between Regina, SK and Calgary, AB in the Western Canadian prairies is generally considered to be semi-arid by most.

Seattle tends to get more snow in the winter, and a bit more rain. But the summers in Seattle are better than london imo.

Seattle and London have identical annual average temperatures ,Seattle has many more rain days but higher sunshine. 2,100 - 1500

If you need an equivalent, try Portsmouth ,England although drier or better still ,Lorient in France, both around 1,900 hours and similar temps. Lorient has also more rain days similar to the PNW

Btw...Vancouver is actually warmer than Seattle on average.

Seattle has sunnier, drier summers, while London has warmer, cloudier summers, milder winters and less rainfall year round and isn't as gloomy in winter.
