Cold? love it, no sweating, life is fresh and invigorating..

Weatherfan is an odd choice of user name being so one dimensional in being a fan of weather.
Should have chosen Warmweatherfan eh!
Amazing immaturity in the face of the fact that I have a different preference than you.

I've lived in a number of wintry climates: Calgary, Charlottetown, even the Okanagan has a decent amount of frigid months, and tried skiing, skating, making snow-men, etc... I still hate cold. It hurts; my nose runs; it makes me uncomfortable; I don't like having to put three layers on to get through the day, then rapidly have to take the layers off once I get inside or risk heat stroke.

I felt this way when I was five and totally unaffected by others climate preferences ( I'll give it to Calgarians, they're really cold hardy and don't seem bothered by the weather ), and still feel much the same each time I've had the opportunity to experience sub-zero weather again.

B+, nice cold, snowy winters and decent summers. Could be a bit colder though but other than that a fairly nice climate.

I don't think people are debasing Montreal in any way, they just don't enjoy the cold as much as you do.

It has something to displease practically everyone, I think.

Heres that first post, sure seems to me like the guy doesnt like the weather here and assumes no one else will either. Not sure if he's referring to summer, winter, spring or fall .
Be nice if the op got back to clarify what was meant by his

I don't particularly dislike it myself. I just anticipated a lot of trashing from strict cold-haters and strict cold-lovers alike.

Winters are a little colder than ideal, but that's not really an issue. Montreal, like many places in Canada, is a solid A

Why would cold-lovers not like it? Cool/cold weather seems to dominate throughout the year.
