I am suprised Turkey's 3rd biggest place hasn't been done yet.

Highest snow depth for Ä°zmir is 32 cm (12.6 inches), recorded in January 1945.

I put C, but it's really between B and C somewhere. Summers are too hot, and not really cooling down at night, and summer humidity is somewhat too high. But at least it hardly ever feels "muggy", according to weatherspark, which is a big plus, and at least almost no rain in summer. Good hours of sunshine.

Weatherspark averages are inaccurate.

I pay no attention to unofficial weather websites.

I use Weatherspark only for human humidity comfort meter charts, "oppressive"/"muggy"/"miserable"/"humid"/"comfortable"/"dry", and I find them to be damn accurate, according to my experience with various climates. Wickipiedia isnt' official to me either, by the way.

Turkish State Meteorological Service is the source on Wikipedia.

But they don't have charts that allow me to easily evaluate humidity comfort levels, which is a big issue for me personally especially in summer. So I use weatherspark for that and find their humidity comfort charts to be excellent.

I give it a D. It's way too warm for the whole year.

Are you staying in Izmir these days? Seems like a cool city (besides the climate).

I am being in Ä°zmir from Monday to Thursday only.

Other days, I am in Edremit, which is a district municipality in Balıkesir Province.

So I stay 3 nights in Ä°zmir but 4 nights in Edremit.

It will be going like this for these days.

Only 3 votes for the 3rd biggest place in Turkey?

4th vote comes from me.

Ä°zmir is a perfect place except weather. Its weather may not be good but for other things, it is a perfect place.

Ä°zmir is more western minded than Istanbul, which is better for you guys.

B+, good Mediterranean climate. A slightly warmer winter would push it into A territory for me
