I don't like the wild temperature swings in short periods of time. Wouldn't like it, I'd rather see consistent cold temps, with moderate sunshine streaming in periodically.

I don't mind extreme temperature swings. I'm used to it since I live in a continental climate that is only marginally moderated by the southern end of the Great Lakes. However, I only enjoy these swings in late autumn, and early spring. I don't like it when the occur during the summer and winter, but many years they do around here.

I would prefer less extreme weather during winter, not because I don't like cold weather, but because I would rather things stayed cold and snowy throughout winter.
