We've had many days this month in the mid to high 30's and less than 2 mm of rain with severe thunderstorms forming across the interior today, along with more temperatures in the high 30's next week.
I'm cheated out of summer every single year. Might be around average, it's still too cool to my taste. I haven't made a trip down South this summer yet, though I was in Strasbourg when they got hot in June and in Paris when it got hot in July. So 2 days in the mid-90s so far.
We've actually had some really good weather here. Unfortunately, after a spell of good weather, last Saturday was wet and cool and Sunday was overcast and cool. Then the weather became good for the working week, will remain great until Friday...then surprise surprise, back to the rain and cool on Saturday. The good weather we've been getting usually doesn't come around much at all.
June was ok, even slightly above average however this July feels nothing like summer (by our local standards). In fact it's the monthly max is averaging cooler than a typical June. A complete let down, and the nightmare isn't over yet. Next seven days might push this July to be coolest on record
And I'm not holding my breath for a decent August either
I wonder if we will end up with a warmer July than you this year?
What are you at now?
