Melbourne cus in Australia... LA is full of Americans... Ops , just joking...
No think I prefer Melbourne as I am more used to it's oceanic climate. Also, it's in Australia...
Los Angeles (downtown/coastal) isn't even that hot. Melbourne gets more 40C heat than coastal LA.
Try New Orleans or something...
New Orleans is more humid than hot. I would say somewhere in the desert SW for heat, not LA. Mid 80's in summer (downtown LA) is not even as hot as here in Philadelphia. And they have cool dry nights. I prefer warm, humid summer nights like we get. Somewhere like Palm Springs is a lot hotter than LA.
I enjoyed LA's climate, but the thought of the dryness being permanent, just isn't cool.
Melbourne can be a bit dreary at times, and has it's own dryness issues, but in general has a good climate, particularly in suburbs a bit further inland.
