I wonder if you can find a real place that has all that; potential for my hi/lo ranges with dewpoints under 55 F?
SW Australia can easily get dewpoints under 55 F in coastal areas,
but they are accompanied by a much larger diurnal range during < 55 F dewpoints.
Probably 28/17 C (82/63 F) is the mildest hi/lo for such a dewpoint here.
(which doesn't meet my prefered daily mean of 24+ C/75+ F)
If I could have a tropical climate with a guaranteed breeze and a very low level of temperature deviation, then I'd be in heaven with 24/32 as a daily average and 90% humidity. The problem is that some of these climates are prone to hot spells, which is why some inland tropical savanna and monsoon climates are terrible inspite of great averages: 40C and 90% humidity sucks.

Highly unlikely since dryer dewpoints are accompanied with a larger diurnal range, as you said. If I wanted a dry 72 F overnight during the summer, I would probably have to contend with 95 F+ heat during the afternoon.
From these 84/70 looks like the most comfortable. I like warm nights for eating outside but when trying to sleep it's not really funny. If AC is available, make it 82/75. The best would be stayin in the high 70s / low 80s till 11 pm or so, then temps into the 60s for the rest of the night.
80/72 looks pretty decent IF the humidity is low (say 30%) and theres breeze in the air. 22 celsius nights can be wonderful nights to be out drinking a beer or watching the stars in the balcony
Low : 24°C, High : 30°C, Dew point : 24°C, Sunny with a chance of thunderstorms (say, a 1 hour storm, 2 times a week).
Repeat for eternity.
So, yes, CC, I love night warmth, and, unlike most of you here and on the planet (I guess), I love humidity. Whether it's 30°C or 15°C outside, I'd rather have a high humidity.

Hahaha. You prefer it cooler and muggier than I do. Similar heat index though.
I don't complain about high dewpoints though; a 28 C dewpoint is fine with me.
Mine would probably be highs of 31-36 C with lows of 21-24 C, but dewpoints from 17-22 C.
80/72 F looks nice, provided that humidity is low and there's a light breeze.

I agree with both of these, not surprisingly. Incidentally, those conditions are actually pretty similar to the warmer Summer evenings here. Peak at 80 or 82 in the afternoon with a breeze and low humidity, then my 9pm or so it's cooled off decently, but still around 70 or so. But by morning it would be in the 50s, which is why I love this place.
