Precipitation data? (climate, snowy, days, cities)

I'm familiar with NOAA's published climate normals (like this). These include sections for the mean number of days with precipitation x and the mean number of days with snow x.

Manually pulling those numbers isn't practical. Does anybody know of a list of mean annual precipitation days and mean annual snowy days for US cities?

Basically, I want to make a spreadsheet calculating the figure s = mean precipitation days - mean snowy days for all major US locations.
