But I'm really curious about long daylength. How does it feel? I've been to places far from the equator several times but in a strange coincidence, they're all during winter (not even spring or fall).
It feels like there's no downtime. There's a general feeling of elation and activity during white nights, people can't seem to sit still. Which, considering sitting still is pretty much all you can do in the dark half of the year, is not surprising.

It feels truly awesome. My favorite sunset time has to be around 9-9.30pm. (Probably because that's what I'm used to - our latest is 9.17pm). 10pm is great too (e.g. Paris in June) but maybe slightly less natural to me. Overall I'm happy whenever civil twilight extends past 7pm.
I'd love to experience ridiculously long days once (like Iceland in summer).

What about sunrise times? In midsummer Paris, even with 10pm sunsets, the sunrise times still not going far from 6am!! Maybe it's also less natural (it means nearly-2pm solar noons)

But again their earliest sunset is just 4.54pm, almost an hour later than yours
Also 9pm sunsets is enough there in midsummer, because the sun angle can up to 70°
Our sunsets are only at most 45mn apart dude, sorry to mention that though it's probably the only slight upside in your subpolar ****hole
