I'm on the highway now from Jakarta to Bandung. The sun is already low and very orange now and it's still quarter past 5. Timeanddate says the sun altitude is about 6° now. I see much difference in sunset-dusk time, but maybe not too much in sunrise-dawn time. Combined effect of both longitude and latitude. I really like this.

How is it? Congestion? On lucky days you can get there in 2 hours but average is 3. On bad days about 4 to 5. Once I left Bandung at 8 and arrived at 3 the next day. That's 7 hours!
Anyways enjoy the food! They got lots of treats! My favourite is yamien (particularly the salty variant).
I'm off from Jakarta (Halim Airport) at 4.20 and still in kilometer 79 now, maybe I'll arrive about 8.30ish. Excluding the 45 minute rest at KM 57, it's about 3 1/2 hours
Btw its my school vacation.
I used to live in Bandung 2007-08 and maybe will live there again in mid 2016 (for college)
^^ seems like a slight congestion but still within normal limits. Just asking, which area are you staying in?
I miss Bandung. Born there and spent my early childhood there. Moved to tangerang when I was about 10 due to my dad's job. But I still visit Bandung often as my grandma live there.
No I stay in hotel now.
I stayed from january til late 2007 and Antapani till mid 2008
And My apartment for 2016 is in ciumbuleuit
