For tomorrow, 14 December:

Sunsets actually don't get any earlier than this here. Sunrises however have an extra seven minutes to go.

checking this site:

Sun or Moon Altitude/Azimuth Table

your maximum sun altitude is 15.4°. For me, the sun is above that angle from 9:10 to 14:20 or a little over 5 hours. The low sun angle of English winter felt odd to me, as if it were early morning / late afternoon the whole day.

Good site! I love the midwinter low sun angle. The last few days have been sunny in the morning, it's been beautiful cycling to work at 9am taking a couple of high-speed corners downhill through the park with rime on the trees, sparkling white frost everywhere and blinding sunlight just above the horizon coming straight into my eyes

As long as the frost isn't on the road:

thick frosts on all the cars this morning, saw people scraping. Haven't driven since Tuesday morning, luckily it was warm enough by mid-morning that I didn't have to bother. I should try to get back to cycling if this winter is mild.

No, i'm used to it the altitude of the sun in the winter actually looks pretty high to me. In arctic countries its very high.
