7 hours, 35 minutes

Only 15 minutes left to lose. We haven't had that many days of dense overcast so far this winter, so the lack of daylight hasn't felt so much of an issue.

Yesterday was the exception here. We had very thick fog all day so it was completely dark by half past 4 in the afternoon.

We've hardly had any fog at all this year. Yesterday was murky and had no sun, but not as gloomy as you'd get with heavy rain like last year.

A few years ago I started counting the number of completely sunless days we get in December thinking it would be about half, but we've only had 2 out of 7 so far this month. (2014: 10, 2015: 14)
