I've been noticing later sunsets myself also, it's light til nearly 6 now while back in December it was pitch black by 6.

Tomorrow; 15th January.

Sunrise: 8:44am
Sunset: 4:31pm

Daylength: 7 hours and 47 minutes.

No 5pm sunsets until end of the month and no 6pm sunsets until end of next month. So don't start seeing appreciable levels of daylight until March. Kinda disappointing..

Notice 7am+ sunrises last until mid-March on GMT. Interesting.
