Seeing the ice cream van going down the road in July here is proof enough that they don't mind trying to do business in winter temperatures.

We don't see ice cream vans during the winter here, but they do come out on nice sunny days in spring & autumn

-Temperature of -17.5°C (0.5°F)
-Windchill of -28°C (-18°F) - 21km/h (13mph) winds
-Relative humidity of 83% (dew point of -19.7°C / -3.5°F)
-Forecast high of -11°C (12°F) today

After a huge dump of snow over the last day and a half it seems to have slowed down, but the cold temperatures are definitely sticking around for now.

6.41 am

5C/42F, Forecast high of 18C/64F

84% RH

Mostly clear with a chilly easterly wind. Yesterday's heavy rain was a fizzer, just big fat drops falling throughout the day. I heard thunder in the hills though.
