Well we are around average so it will most probably last.

Well, it will last but um, it may just cool down for my birthday on christmas eve!!

4c here now, while its mild it isn't by any means abnormally mild!

37 F/3 C at 6:13PM after a high of 45 F/7 C. Freezing Rain Advisory in effect. Perhaps a little bit of ice before precipitation changes to rain tomorrow.

Actually you may not be too far off because this website 14 Day UK Weather Forecast is saying there is a 20% to 30% possiblity that cold air from the Northeast may dive down to Scotland and maybe Castlederg??
But the possiblity is low so don't keep your hopes up.
