12°C / 53°F for the moment in the Loire Valley. There are apparently very cold air in northern Europe that will hit Northern France north of Seine river today. Heavy snowfall in expected in Normandy, but here still relatively sunny and mild.

It's still pretty early; 6:20 am but from what I see online in our weather report, we can expect 54 degrees today and partly sunny. Yesterday was beautiful here in Central Ct. I sat out on our front steps without a heavy coat and enjoyed seeing the sunshine, blue sky and snow melting finally. Earlier in the day, there were 9 deer in a small herd frolicking across the pasture across the street from our house. They too were enjoying the warm weather. Has been a rough, rough winter so far. In our area, the biggest storm of the season dropped 40" on our area and this last one gave us at least another foot of heavy wet snow. Spring can't show up fast enough.
