I talked with my son yesterday ( dairy farm in MN) AND HE RARELY COMPLAINS ABOUT WINTER.

Hr said he is sick of the deep snow in ditches and the battle to keep driveway open from drifting shut

Going on 5 years now up in ND, MN and SD. Still complaining about the weather, but that doesn't seem to change it.
