1°C and clear. The first above freezing day in March and the melt is on. Nights are still quite cold, down to -12°C, but streams of water are flowing everywhere in daytime.

-0.7C at 2pm, full overcast, Believe it or not, we're on track for another ice day! This cold spell is so implausible for this time of year I'm even going to attach proof:

Its confusing though how england is getting an ice day under the same conditions that everywhere is getting and we are getting 2/3c. Even scotland.

We've had 2 ice days this month, the lowest being -0.5C. Yesterday reached 1C under sunny skies, which is equally as impressive. Currently 0.8C, I suspect an ice day would have occurred both today and yesterday if the sun hadn't come out.
