Amerst, MA

Record high 104°F/ 40°C (Jul 4 1911)
Record low -30°F/ -34.4°C (Jan 22 1961)

In the few years I've lived here coldest I've experienced -11°F according to Amherst records (but the local weather station; in a different location reported -20°F. I wonder if it's in a valley that collects cold) and the hottest is 98°F.

Hottest low: 80°F (Jul 5 1990)
Coldest low: -1°F (happened twice in Jan 1904 and Jan 1918)
