-45°C in Saskatoon in January 2004. I've also experienced -40°C numerous times, as well as windchills in the -50s.

Hungary in Dec/Jan 1999-00, there was plenty of snow but I don't think the temp got much below -5 to -6C during our 3 week stay, and my memory is hazy (was 11 at the time).

Therefore I have never experienced a temp below about -7C.

-9.4°C (15°F) in Brooklyn, NYC (at night). It sucked, but luckily it wasn't windy, I've felt worse at higher temperatures.

For me it was here in Chicago. Jan 20th 1985, I was 12 years old, the temperature dipped to -27F/-32.8C. The windchill that night was -77F/-60.6C
