Warmest July 25. - Aug 9. here.
Coldest Jan 13. - Jan 30.

On the most oceanic areas along the coast, warmest is just before mid-Aug and coldest is just before mid-Feb

Here in SW Florida the hottest is July-September and I do mean hot but mostly very humid so even if it not 100 degrees like Arizona it feels hotter.


Coldest would probably be January or February but we have had a few very cold December's. But our cold snaps last only a few days in winter and then we are back into the 80's during the day and high 50's to low 60's overnight.

I've always found the seasonal patterns of the PNW interesting. A seasonal lag in summer and a lead in winter. I wonder what causes this.

Hottest: mid August to mid September
Coldest: mid December to mid January
Most anomalous for our latitude: June having a cooler average temperature than October on the coast
