Spectacular summers and the rest of the year isn't too bad, although winters much too cold for my liking. Like my city but with much greater seasonality. C.
Glad to hear my summers are spectacular. Bucharest's summers look a bit sunnier though. And drier.
Not my cup of tea. I prefer Constanta in Romania, and many other Balkan coastal climates elsewhere. Not a patch on Montenegro.

Great climate location find, SophieLL!
I have some family members that live in Bucharest and Constanta Romania, and I went to Bucharest three times before in July/August.
Each of the three times I went, it was sunny/dry every day there for literally 10 to 30 days in a row. Summers are usually very sunny/dry over there. It also looked sort of semi-arid, but that is most likely because of the time of the year I visited.
Unfortunately, overall I have to give Bucharest weather a C.
It would easily be in the B category if Bucharest got more annual precipitation such as 30 inches+. Also, if the winter was just a tiny bit warmer and shorter.
If the summers are very sunny over there, that must mean autumn/winter/spring is very cloudy over there to achieve only 2,100 annual sunshine hours for the year.
My family members never invited me to go to Romania during the winter.
Most likely because of weather reasons.
B- I like the temperatures except in the summer (a bit too warm, though not so bad). Overall it's a nice climate. And, Sophie, it's true. When I was a child I thought that it couldn't be colder than, say, England, because Bucharest was closer to the equator. :P
Very similar to Toronto, perhaps a bit warmer than Toronto, I'd give it a C+
I'd say it's an improvement on Toronto; It'd be closer to NYC in length of summer.
Toronto doesn't have such a good April or October with highs in the mid to low 10Cs (I don't often recall wearing T-shirts those months), but Bucharest has April and October highs of 18C. That's a bit more T-shirt weather.
You could probably notice a difference in mildness of winter and length of summer (just like how NYC would be noticeably warmer than Toronto).
B+, awesome sunshine and temperature values with adequate seasonality in both. The only reason it doesn't get an A is because of its lowish rainfall. Its rainfall pattern its mainly continental with a hint of mediterranean influence.
Maybe the best climate out of every european capitals for me along with nearby Chişinău.

There is not a mediterranean influence there. Just all kind of mediterranean climates have a dry season during summer.
This is what is surprising, the fact that they have the driest month in October, which is uncommon in Europe.
