I choose Los Angeles... it has the mildest winters out of the choices offered.

LA for longer period of time where highs are around or at room temperature, or above.

Eureka or South Lake Tahoe do not look desirable to me due to coolness/coldness of either summer, winter or both!

Redding's a bit hot in summer, and not as warm as LA in winter.

I choose LA- way too dry, but temps are nice.

Eureka-if the summers were 5C/10F warmer, this would have been my first choice.

Redding- too sunny, and too hot in summer.

South Lake Tahoe- too cold. I spent 2 winter/springs there and enjoyed the climate.....at the time.

Any idea what the sunshine hours would be for South Lake Tahoe?

Toss up between South Lake Tahoe and Eureka. Leaning towards Eureka unless SLT isn't obnoxiously sunny.

Redding's sunshine and rainfall combination is rather hard to believe. Redding has 82 days of 0.01 inches of more precipitation. This year Redding got more rain in June than January!

The Sierra Nevada is odd combination of high snowfall and high sunshine. Guessing 3000 hours for South Lake Tahoe, maybe slightly less.
