Florida getting to freezing levels-sweet. Some cloud cover would be nice, also.

Anyone remember early March, 2007?

Unusually low temps on March 7 and around there!

Only the teens for the day temp in Windsor County, Vermont!

January, 2007 had less snow than later March, 2007! After roughly March 10, it started getting unstable, got into a trough pattern!

When it was almost the end of March, one day, the temps were in the normal range, but it started snowing and the temp dropped to less then 33 F!

Even February, 2007 likely had less snow than March and April, 2007 in Windsor County, Vermont!

Kinda bad timing, might have to do stuff outside. What a pain...
But it'll be January. It's supposed to be cold.

Skiing conditions should be great.

There's no snow. It'll still be a nuisance and far less comfortable to do stuff (mainly move a bunch of stuff from my apartment) than would be if the warmth stayed. At least December was okay, so it will be maybe two months of bad stuff.

Ski resorts can make snow. The one near me does. It just has to be cold.

I've been doing a lot of work outdoors this week in sub-freezing weather and I was very comfortable.

I love those Arctic blasts. Very conducive to getting a mug full of hot cider and curling up by the fire with a good book. The coldest I can ever remember is the Arctic invasion of February 1996, where we had lows of around 7 degrees here in southern Alabama.
