It’s slowly moving toward the middle of meteorological winter and it seems to be pretty mild across many areas of the USA. Despite a few cool/cold days (like yesterday in the east) here and there, so far this winter has been pretty easy on most people in the USA. The only areas that have picked up any real snow have been the Great Lakes so far. Other than a little cooler than normal weather along the California coast (and even that seems to be fading a little)…this winter has felt more like early spring for the most part.

One look at the extended forecast – shows little real change in the coming 10 days:

Are you happy about the warm winter/little snow so far....

or are you sad about the warm winter so far...

No snow in in New York City area yet this winter season.... we got few rare centimeters in late October, and even since then no snow at all other than being sunny almost every day

I'm happy that we have gotten a lot of rain over the past 5 days and some strong winds.. but I'd prefer snow, cold and frost, so I'd have to say I'm 'not pleased' rather then sad.

Neither happy nor sad, mainly because this is my first winter in Michigan in over 10 years.

I've seen more snow so far this winter than any winter I was down South. Once a decent snowfall finally comes through, I'll have seen more snow this winter than in any of the winters down South combined. When that happens, I'll be happy regardless of how the rest of the winter pans out.

I would like to see more sustained snow and cold, but it's still been pleasantly cool. So no, I'm not sad.

Default Hatred, not Depression

I put down sad, as I detest warm weather in winter, but I'm actually angry (or mad, if you prefer).

Ecstatic - I'm not in Canada, I'm in Cairo! This winter is nearly twenty degrees warmer than my west-coast one from last year.
