August looks pretty snowy! Winters are consistently cold so no annoying melting...plus August has pretty high snowfall so that should stick around till summer.
F-. Pretty much a perpetual winter, and NOTHING close to any kind of summer at all. And all time high of only 50 degrees? No thanks!
This actually looks like a slightly colder and wetter version of Barrow. I would take Barrow over this any day. At least they have better summer potential, with an all time record high of 79 F, and a whole lot less precipitation during the warmer months, too.
Winters are too cold for too long for my taste. I'd prefer the Summer be warmer and drier, but I wouldn't mind this one's too much. I would give it a B if it had steadier precipitation, but having a dry winter, such sharp summer monsoon rains, then some snow in August (and May besides), I have to knock it down to a C. That sort of precipitation pattern I don't care for. Also, my rough calculations suggest it receives about 50 inches of snow per season. It's not that snowy, and could certainly do with more, especially since the winter is quite dry.
I'd certainly prefer it over any humid subtropical or tropical climate, which usually get much lower marks from me.
Truly miserable. Though it's much wetter, and a bit colder ( and on the plus side, much, much sunnier ) it reminds me of places on the western Arctic Russian coast.

With a 43F average in July, the all-time record high of 50F would only make sense if this place is located on a tiny island surrounded by hundreds of miles of arctic seas...
In this case, the rapid drop in temperatures in Aug-Sep doesn't make any sense as the arctic seas reach their maximum temperature in mid to late-August, and usually the lowest ice-cover in early to mid September. A true high-arctic "oceanic" climate (similar to Hopen Island for example) would see after a short spring in June, a temperature peak in July, August being just as warm, September falling slightly below freezing on average, and a dramatic drop in Oct-Nov as the island becomes icebound and the moderating effect of the seawater ceases until Apr/May.
The "peak" shown in temperatures in this climate is more remniscent of a high arctic "continental" climate, e.g. Barrow, Eureka, Dikson or Pewek, but that absolutely makes no sense whatsoever with the "low" records in the summertime... Records should be then in the 70's fahrenheit, or at it's very least, in the high 60's.
