Some of my favorites in Florida are the cypress and tupelo swamp along Arbuckle Creek and the palm/oak hammock at Hontoon Island State Park.

Climate and weather have profound effects over the vegetation of an area, and I think it would be interesting to discuss our tastes in that area.

As for myself, despite my ideal climate being subarctic, my ideal vegetation is a hemiboreal forest, consisting of a mix of the regular boreal varieties with deciduous trees that may be found in a continental climate, such as oaks and maples. A close second is a fully boreal forest, consisting of spruce, pine, and white birch. Both are very appealing prospects for me. I also have a soft spot for grasslands such as the High Plains.
I find the boreal forest to be quite ugly, with short stunted evergreen trees and little variation. I visited Quebec City in July 2013 and we drove north of QC through the national park there up to Saguenay. I was expecting to be "wowed" but I felt that the loblolly pine forests in the South (coniferous subtropical) have taller forests than the boreal forest up north.

Here is an example of how large a loblolly can get:

I do like temperate forests like this: Appalachian mixed mesophytic forests - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and I love the coastal and mountain forests of California.

I also have a sweet spot for the subtropical swamps of my homeland in Louisiana:
Wetlands of Louisiana - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the coastal forests along northern California:

Redwood National and State Parks - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My least favorite would be dry grasslands and shrublands. Even desert appeals to me more than those biomes.

All of those pics are from Central Europe except the second one, which is from Northern Italy.

My "vegetation tastes" () have evolved a bit. Right now I'm really a big fan of deciduous forests like the one you posted here:

Nothing wrong with birches and spruces though, they look great in snow.

That area in Italy looks like a frost hollow:
