How worse can it be? A landfall on a trailer park. RIP.

Last time we had settling snow was in April 2008 too (5 cm). I guess it's a bit like in London, maybe once a decade or so. Actually we haven't had any snow in April since then, settling or not.
I don't have settling snow stats but I have the number of days with falling snow for each Arpil since 1973. It snowed on 39 days, averaging about 1 snowy day per April. More than a half of the Aprils (21) didn't have any snow. Most was 4 days in 1975, 1994 and 1999.

Btw, speaking of snow, I just heard the first thunder rumble of the year.
We got 3, maybe 4 droplets from this cell. It won't help us much, only 53 mm fell since the beginning of the year.

Possible 100MPH Updraft itself. Those trailers are 500+ feet up.

Rather than seeing anything tornado related in these pictures, all I can make out is what appears like a badly rendered Picasso lost in a haze of reflections.

No precipitation is anywhere near Buxton at the moment, in fact I seem to be very much in the center of a dry slot going by the radar at the moment, and the precip spinning around me at a radius of maybe 30 miles. I may not be the center of the world (just yet) but I'm happy to know I'm at least the center of a macroscale atmospheric disturbance .

It's not exactly that difficult when one considers they are not secured to the ground and they have an extremely high surface area to volume/density ratio. A low end F2 could easily do that. Hell, the F2 here in Birmingham England in 2005 was capable of such.

Well after a pair of 80Fs this weekend, looks like we will end up having a pair of 40Fs for Mon/Tues with about 3-4 inches of snow. Tomorrow goes back to low 60s and the rest of the week looks like mid to upper 60Fs. Tornadoes near Dallas. Wow! Talk about wacky weather recently.

FYI -

EF2 = 111–135mph winds at the surface.

EF2s DO NOT pick up Truck trailers and toss them 500 feet into the air. EF2's will toss siding, big branches, NOT trailers.

EF3 & 4 will toss heavy cars and tear away roofs. So I'm expecting that one will be an EF3 maybe 4 that passed through. I havent seen other damage. How much do those trailers weigh? I could be wrong if they aren't that heavy.

Well I don't know about this "EF" rating but the F2 in 2005 (among others) we had in this country at least was able to pick up "empty" truck trailers and rip off roofs, and in some cases, even totally destroy the top floors of houses. Empty truck trailers are easily blown about and very light. Here such vehicles are often blown over even by 60mph wind gusts, a 130mph F2 tornado can easily pick one up.
