Trend: A low pressure system may weaken on Monday 25th of June, leading to a general clearance. Lingering snow is expected about the peaks until the 27th.
And some weather news:
Record low temperatures for the Azure Mountains (Friday 15th June 2012)
Cover bands across New Oregon rejoiced as they adopted AC/DC to suit the prevailing weather. It was certainly true that everyone had "blue balls" on Friday as the first polar high of the winter chattered the teeth of the states' subjects.
The small hamlet of Kipp, in the Bloodylong Valley adjacent to the Azure Mountains, recorded a numbing -50C. This is the first such instance of -50C in the town, and not far off the New Oregon record of -56.7C, set at Penguin Point in the south of the state.
For those already winter-weary, there's plenty to fear at the end of the week as a bombing low pressure system forms off the central coast. Those planning weekend activities in Emerald City are likely to be disappointed, as up to 200 mm of precipitation is forecast for the eastern suburbs. It's uncertain whether this will fall as rain, snow, ice or a little of all three. It will be all snow in the Azure Mountains though as a colder airmass inland interacts with the relatively warm ocean air, a boon for winter sports enthusiasts in the region.

My computer broke and I'm not sure if I'll be able to recover my files. But I'm pretty sure the first summery days of the season were this week with sun and highs in the 70s.
This one is an "everyweather" climate which will feature loads of every single kind of weather imaginable. Can't wait until I've done all the years of it so I put the averages together. Done the year 1980 so far, going to go all the way up to 2011. Like snow? You'll like it here. Like heat and humidity? You'll like it here. It gets a lot of weather which is why it is aptly named "Magner City".
