Ironically the low of 53 F that occurred on the 24th through the 26th were the coolest July temperatures since 2009. Overall a wet, hot and very swingy month. Definitely nothing boring about this month. Also, the very wet July allowed Winter Haven to shatter it's wettest two month period on record, with a whopping 70.87" of precipitation recorded during June - July, breaking the record of 60.87" back in July - August 1991. This June and July combined have recorded more precipitation than an average year. .
