It's been a very long time since we had a Port Thompson update. It's been one of the hottest Julys in decades this year, enough to make Port Thompsonites glad of their usually benign weather.
Tuesday 30th: Sunny, high 31, low 17
Wednesday 31st: Sunny, high 30, low 18
Thursday 1st: Thunderstorms, high 26, low 17
Friday 2nd: Thunderstorms, high 25, low 16
Saturday 3rd: Thunderstorms, high 25, low 14
First week of August forecast. It has been well below average and cloudy recently, but all that is about to change during the next few days, as a pesky heatwave is about to occur. The CFL will probably reach the highest temp this year during the weekend. Some inland locations might even hit 40C.
