Yeah, I have personally never understood our rainy reputation. We are actually a pretty dry city.. we are on a 2 month dry spell right now with less than 20mm of rain and that isn't particularly unusual. Summers are normally mostly dry with rain coming in bigger bursts less frequently.. it's only really October/November that can feel quite rainy some years

Yeah and New England esque Autumns. NYC is the quintessential 4-season climate I guess.

Chicago and Minneapolis are much closer to that.

It is funny that I didn 't know in the past that Paris is gloomy too. I imagined Paris to be sunny with snowy winters.

I met a guy from Rochester, NY who thought England was cold and snowy. I think he formed his opinion based on Dickens novels.

Summer since we hold both the Italian and European record high, we also even averaged higher than 30C° both in July and August 2012. It must be said that no one outside of the surrounding area really cares or thinks about Foggia, not even in Italy

I know several people from there, and none of them wants to return there. Never been there but this makes me wonder what is so repulsive about the place... I have yet to see an ugly Italian city. You guys have high standards.

There's a proverb which is says:"Fuggi da Foggia non per Foggia ma per i foggiani" and it's really true. The mentality of the people is really destroying this place, the people up North are much more open minded and even friendly, also no one seems to mind his business here. Can't wait to get out of here.
