Title says it all what would you choose between the icy subarctic lands of Patricianopolis and the glorious warmth of my tropical coast?

For your greatest enjoyment I put both sets of data in Wikipedia-style weatherboxes.
Patricius, please let me know if I made any mistake while entering your climate data. I also tried to find your monthly sunshine averages but couldn't find them in the "Dream climate" thread

Let the battle begin ! Interestingly, PM's average July high (warmest) is my average December low (coldest).

In case you're unsure, the cold climate is Patricius Maximus', the other is mine.

Enjoy !

PLEASE NOTE : PM's climate is displayed as °F(°C), mine is °C(°F).

This thread seems to be a "head count" for heat lovers vs. cold lovers.

It would be interesting to see weather fan members (nei? mr marbles?)
who prefer more temperate weather, which ones they would pick.

I find an annual average high of 39 F/ 4 C to be very harsh.
That's colder than Fort McMurray, Alberta!

Obviously I pick dhdh's.
I'm not sure I like the seasonality in your climate, coolish winter,
but I appreciate the record low is only 16 C.
I LOVE the 3,300 or so hours of annual sunshine.
Is this in Central America? Africa? Asia?

Winter-to-summer averages look like North Queensland,
only the record lows are a lot more stable...
while the record highs are much higher than average.
That and it looks like the northern hemisphere.

I dislike both of the climates, but I'm happy with the cooler month's of dhdh's climate and the hot months annoy me, but they're not out of range of what I've experienced; just too sticky.The winters of Patricionoplis are just too much.

@dhdh
how'd you get it in wikipedia format? Wanna make a climate battle for mine?

//www.city-data.com/forum/21670358-post985.html

Its rating weren't as high as expected; not sure what would be a good match.

I'm sure dhdh just went to a random climate Wiki article and edited it. I've done it myself (obviously without saving)

lol, you guys are funny!

Im not a heat lover (more like a heat hater) and im not a cold lover either, i like mild temperatures. When i look at both your climates, i think that they are both horrible (sorry guys), definetely both are too uncomfortable to me and i wouldnt live in any of those places.

However, Patricionopolis wins, cause when i saw dhdh HUMIDITY, than ended up selling me the other climate. Sorry, dhdh, but those temperatures with high humidity?? get outta here!

I vote Patricianopolis.

Despite Patricianopolis' summer highs/record highs almost exactly making me feel at home those winters are much too cold, plus the minus temperatures (C) invading the non-winter months make it a definite no. Dhdh winters actually seem very pleasant, though as summers.

Neither look too good to me.

I voted for dhdh's climate. It's too dry for me and the summers are slightly too warm but other than that it looks nice and comfortable.

Patricius Maximus' climate is too cold at night in the summer...especially those record lows. I like the precipitation pattern though it is a bit dry.
