I just love webcams but whats better is an animation of them. Pretty cool webcam animation shows the snow accumulating throughout the day in Ski Monarch, Monarch, CO 81227

Snow entering New Mexico mountains now. Whats the lattitude that far south?? Wind chill is in single digits.

Default May snow in Colorado

I guess because Colorado has more people then other areas which has seen snow lately that current conditions are easier to find today. Last post for today on this.

Sad I didn't see any actual snow falling, but glad to be in Colorado instead of back home in Texas!

Nice trough in the West. 40s widespread this morning and 30s for higher elevations above 6000'. Its amazing to see the 850mb layer still cold.

We experience all 4 seasons this week! Yesterday was winter-like, today should be spring-like, Wed and Thurs should be close to summer-like with highs in the 80s, then a cool front knocks us back down to fall-like temps.

How would you like this job? Imagine plowing snow in Mid May and being near the edge of a cliff?

They are clearing the roads which they usually do in May & June.
