Does anyone else here dislike partly cloudy weather, such as this;

I love this;

I find partly cloudy weather to be extremley boring & sterile and I find no qualities in it what so ever..

So what are your thoughts??

For me it's simple: Cloudless >> partly cloudy >> mainly cloudy >> overcast. The more sun in a day the better, and I don't really care about the cloud configuration for a given amount of sunhsine.

I'd agree with the above. I will prefer partly cloudy over overcast any time.

No, I prefer partly cloudy over clear many times; partly cloudy skies are more interesting. No objections to puffy cumulus clouds like these:

up to some bright overcast skies:

all provide good variety

I'm fine with it being partly cloudy as well. I only like overcast conditions if its raining, otherwise I prefer it partly cloudy or sunny.

My answer as well.

I don't mind partly cloudy skies in tropical climates though as long as there's bright sunshine.

I've seen enough overcast. I don't even like it when it's raining. I'd rather a sun shower.

Your picture of partly cloudy is gorgeous imho.
I prefer strong daylight and "cheetah spots" are a great way to add variety to spells of cloudless weather.
I prefer clear skies, but after a week of it it gets a little boring...
which is when I'd like to see partly cloudy.

Maybe you live where there is "too much" partly cloudy skies.
I saw too much overcast in Toronto, too little of clear skies.

It's a mixture, I like partly cloudy weather in hot and humid weather -to at least take some of the radiant heat away.
I dislike it on cool and windy days, as it tends to have nuisance value only.

Partly Cloudy skies are OK, but I still prefer Sunny skies.

I have nothing against partly cloudy weather. Of course it's the generic sky condition across North America and if it goes on for long stretched it can be boring, but I like partly cloudy conditions just fine. Clouds are often beautiful when they take up just part of the sky. I also like completely overcast skies, especially if it's dark and there's a storm system ongoing. I don't care for sunny skies over partly cloudy skies. To be sure I like the occasional blue-dome day and the bitterly cold, radiational cooling nights that clear skies can produce, but in general I don't like bright sunshine.

I actually prefer mostly cloudy skies or generally cloudy skies that feature huge, menacing cloudscapes, i.e. what I call "variegated stratocumulus". Variegated overcast is my absolute favorite cloud state. What could be more awesome than the cloudscapes seen here (http://aaronpryor.500px.com/#/19 - broken link), or here in the Antarctic Peninsula, or the cloudscapes seen on this page at Casey Station? If I could I'd have skies like this most of the time .
