I found a very interesting record of Mecca.
2 on 3 June, 1996 in Mecca temperature didn't fall below 40 degrees for 24 hours.

Quibdo. Mecca is a furnace. Quibdo is still better than Singapore for that matter, cause it is milder, and the rain provides some relief. Also Mecca has sunshine hours of 4000s, I believe.

I was surprised that Mecca is that warm in the winter as I have worked in Saudi and the winter whre I was is colder that the climate data for Mecca and where I worked is south of Mecca. Anyway, I prefer Mecca over that much rain in Columbia.

Mecca for being drier and less humid.

Mecca still provides relief in the winter at least.

As far as precipitation goes, Mecca is less "humid" but the dew points there are still very high, if not higher than in Quibdó.

Mecca with A/C, all the way.

1200 sun hours and driest month at 500mm? Nnnnnno.

There's nothing I hate more than deep and permanent cloudiness.

Both are horrible, but i rather take the mild tropical rain of Quibdo then the oven heat of Mecca.
And another plus: You can visit Quibdo even as a non muslim person.

Quibdó because it's tropical. But the rainfall totals are totally insane.
