I thought with your preferences for humidity abd thunderstorms it would be anything but boring?

Singapore for me, obviously.

Kerguelen - Love the cool, cloudy weather year round.

My thoughts too, but I think Wildcat also likes seasonality, such as colder winters?

In Singapore I'd die of constant heat, humidity, rain and boredom.
In Kergulan I'd die of constant cold rain, clouds and boredom.
In Schefferville I'd die of cool, rainy, cloudy summers being the reward for frigid, long winters.

I choose...none of the above.

Kerguelen seemed tempting because it is cloudy year round and that is certainly appealing to me.

However Schefferville seems much more appealing because it is more seasonal and has long snowy winters, more precipitation, and just more variety in general to the climate. 1500 some hours of sunlight is tolerable and the summers are comfortable so it's a pretty desirable climate.

Singapore has a lot of humidity (good) but is just too damned hot...

I was referring to temperatures. Singapore does get incredible lightning.

Right, and that post was actually back in 2014 when I disliked cold weather. Even then I wanted some variation.

Schefferville. Winters are a bit long and I'd prefer the light phenomena of higher latitude but it's pretty good overall. You couldn't pay me enough to live in Singapore.

Singapore, and I honestly would move there if I didn't have to worry about money. 32° highs and 24° lows year round is my ideal temps. Would have to get used to the humidity and rain though
