Your location intrigues me now. Seems like you're either stuck in a valley or just missing the outter bands of coastals and apps runners. Pretty cool. lol You should drive 1 hour to your East. You'll probably be amazed.

Just incredible to see again within a week in that area. Areas that just got the biggest snowstorm of the season AND in fact the 2nd biggest snowstorm on record in spots in Kansas and now more coming.

NWS is fighting hard to get the warning out to people down there to get ready again

Video briefing. Blizzard Briefing 2/24 | Facebook

and Im still blown away that Witchita hit 3 degrees F. I didnt even get to that!

Well, it looks like the NWS office in Norman, Oklahoma has gotten to issue their third blizzard warning in 4 years*. If I'm not mistaken, the odd thing about this is that NWS Norman never issued a blizzard warning prior to the Christmas Blizzard of 2009, but since then they've issued one every winter with the exception of 2011-12.

*The blizzard for 2009-10 was Christmas 2009, for 2010-11 it was the Groundhog Day Blizzard, and for 2012-13 it is the current blizzard (2011-12 didn't feature a blizzard warning).
