Pendleton, Oregon is located in Eastern Oregon, therefore that town receives low precipitation year-round with cloudier winters and sunnier summers. Summer nights can be cool. It can be windy. Pendleton is very dry with low humidity year-round with higher humidity during winter. Pendleton gets occasional dry T-storms

Boston, Massachusetts is located in Northeast, so it get some snowstorms with uniform sunshine year-round at same percentage for each monthly regardless what season it is. It is considerably warmer during summer nights with cooler winter nights. Precipitation is similar month-to-month. Boston gets quite humid during summer with occasional wet T-storms.

Pendleton is 3 degrees North than Boston (~200 miles north than Boston when both is lined up)

Pendleton for sure... warmer in winter plus sunnier year round.

Pendleton due to its longer, hotter summer, and sunniness. I would prefer Boston's higher summer lows (don't like chilly mornings in summer), but the colder winters aren't worth it.

Yeah I'm not one for cold winters so I'll go Pendleton, although I dunno, if I were properly dressed maybe Boston. But for comfort, Pendleton.
