Aww, poor summer always wants all the attention. It's overwelcomed its stay for three years straight so it deserves to stay down there lol

lol. Eventually the Ice Berg will keep it down for good. I used that picture because I'm seeing a pattern that might suggest Fall come early... Posting in the fall thread now.

Why don't you talk about the record heat going on in Europe right now?

This is for you..

Just out. Euro12z 500mb Height anomaly for next week. The U.S is engulfed in below normal heights. Looks like the U.S Titanic needs to get the life vests out.

That Upper Level low is amazing to see there that strong.

Edit... I'm not a weather outlet, I'm just one guy. Luckily there are others who mention what's happening around the otherside. I try to focus on the US only unless something interest me elsewhere. I guess all those heat wave posts of mine weren't enough... There's always next year.

Another look at what you have above

Can this August end up rivaling the ultra cool August of 2004?

Oh well I guess you are 100% correct as usual and summer is over. May as well get all the winter gear out and call it quits.

Meanwhile I'll enjoy my upcoming beautiful 80F plus days and ocean in the mid 70's. Was at the beach yesterday. Beautiful.

I'm loving this weather after the really lousy heat and humidity. That heat and humidity was due to SW winds which ruined beach weather here with lousy upwelling. Now that is gone.
