Yes and hence I was speaking for myself just as the people like Patricius who recon 4°C and rain is BBQ weather are speaking for themselves.

Excellent climate - A.
Although a summer maximum of 29C may appear hot, there is a MASSIVE difference between 29C in a Mediterranean climate compared to a humid subtropical climate -where the latter the temperature is revolting.
Rainfall is similar to Adelaide in Australia, so not quite semi-arid.
Everthing else is spot on.

Extremely pleasant though not totally in love with it. A solid B though.

Precisely. Unless stated otherwise it is implied in all of my climate assessments and preference statements that I'm speaking for myself. I don't raise an eyebrow even though my comments was what you were berating. I will say that for myself, it is too hot in summer there for me to partake in summertime (non-snow sport) outdoor activities, which is one of the reasons for my dismal assessment. Quite reasonably, you gave it a better review because it's perfect for your sporting activities.

Not trying to argue with your preferences; just trying to give my point of view.

While I agree that those summer averages are too hot for many activities such as hiking, the rest of the year (8 months or so) are pleasant for those activities and so would summer evenings and mornings. The summer months could be saved for swimming, just relaxing and sitting outside (especially if shaded or not right in the middle of the day with the sun at full strength). Bicycling is a bit more suitable for warmer weather as it produces a breeze.

Anyway, though it's a bit on the dry side, this climate deserves an A to me.

Can anyone find a climate similiar to this but with inverse precipitation data. Would prefer rain more rain in the summer months as I hate a brown grass/ dry looking scenery. Would rather have it drier in the winter and not be freezing out in the rain/gloom.

Would prefer if Faro had only the precipitation data of this climate : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsun#Climate

B+

Very nice. I could probably stretch to an A- for these places.

B..... mostly for the sunshine. Temps okay, but I'd like summers to be a bit warmer day and night. Sunshine saves it from a C.

I give it a B+. Perfect winter climate, however I like my summer days and nights just a tad warmer.
