Hmm.. tough one.. I am going to have to give a slight edge to the Falklands... drier the whole year plus more sunshine and daylight in the winter in general.
I'm curious to know if trees can grow in either place...
Stanley for respectable sunshine hours and colder winters with a greater probability of snow. I don't think that I would be psychologically equipped to handle living in either climate, though (even though Glasgow isn't a massive upgrade from either of those climates).

some trees grow,native trees of southern chile and argentina,of nothofagus genus,are adapted to thoses cool summers and cold winters.
Why rubbish climates? These are my favourites climates ever! ^_^
I choose Lerwick due to it being rainier and cloudier, but both are great!
