Yesterday's sunny conditions bought the average daily sunshine to a (still pathetic) 2.8 hours a day.
Yesterday, interestingly was both the sunniest and coldest day of the month with 9.0 hours of sun and a 11.6C high. Highs below 11C in Melbourne are rare...only reason the high was so low was because of fog and cold airmass... western suburbs were completely free of fog and reached 14-15C.
Sunniest place in Victoria this month is Mildura, with 6.1 hours/day, or 67.5 hours total for the first 11 days of June, making it sunnier than every capital city, except Darwin. It is the sunniest location in Australia outside of the tropics this month...even Perffffffff is suffering from cloud, averaging only 3.4 hours sun per day this month, lower than Melbourne's June average! Plus they are getting some bad storms, a tornado, followed by winds up to 140km/h leaving 160,000 homes without power and yet another storm expected tonight with winds over 100km/h.

24 hours out of a possible ~220. Even a normal second half of June (what we're supposedly going to get) is going to give us a really low final score.
Hopefully you're getting all your bad weather now, and will have great weather for the Olympics. The way your weather flipflops around, hot and dry could be on the cards.
84 hours until the 14th -6 hours on average. The switch was on dim yesterday with a mixture of high stratus and cumulonimbus, although it cleared around midday.

Who are you trying to kid ? 50's and clouds/rain are great for the Summer Olympics. Just think of the track runners who will have an easy time of it, as well as numerous other athletes which will exert and heat themselves up. The swimmers (the only ones that would be impeded) can have their water heated.

I'm not so sure the non-track athletes would like to be standing around in 50 degree temperatures. That is pretty cool for summer conditions.

The Olympics are taking place in late July-early August, 50 degree temperatures are impossible. It's the warmest time of year on average.
