35 hours in Nice in 5 days, i.e. 7 hours a day. Way below average and one of the cloudiest starts to July I have ever seen. But it's going to be completely sunny from Sunday onwards according to the forecasts.
49 hours for the the first 5 days, an average of 9.8 hrs/day. No data for Friday yet although can say it was a mixture of cloud and sun which will bring the average down marginally.
The 7 day forecast looks like showers and rain though due to off shore winds. Will be compensated by warmer mornings.
I was in the hangar at work yesterday and noticed the Sun had come out. I just found myself staring at it, I've never done that before!! It just shows how much I've missed it!
Around 90% of possible sunshine hours (53 hours) for the start of July making up for the deficit in June, quite pleasant but we really need some rain and there's nothing of significance on the forecast.

I live in a cold rainy climate. Believe me when I say this: you DON'T need rain. Instead, count yer blessings.
For Melbourne, the sunshine for the first 6 days of July is an immense 16 hours, for 2.7 daily average
